SYNOPSIS: Salvation centers on an MIT grad student Liam Cole (Red Band Society‘s Charlie Rowe) and a tech billionaire superstar Darius Tanz (Big Little Lies‘ Santiago Cabrera) ​share a frightening discovery with a low-level Pentagon official: an asteroid is set to collide with Earth in six months. However, the Pentagon is already aware of this impending disaster and has chosen to keep this secret from the public. The show centers on the ramifications of the discovery and the attempts to prevent it.
